A2 is the world's first high-volume production car with a bodyshell built entirely from weight-saving aluminium. Overall length is just 3.82 metres (12ft 6ins), but A2 is not short of interior space. A2 was green before its time with high fuel consumption and low CO2 figures. As a result it can compete with the greenest new cars on sale today and is surprisingly cheap to tax and fuel. It's big on the inside too - the rear foot-wells are lower than those in the front for extra legroom.
